Past FoStAC Events

We are delighted to share details of our past events to showcase some of our FoStAC fundraising activities in the past.

2026 Quiz Night
(oh, and the AGM)

Thursday, 26th March 2026 saw the ever popular Quiz Night & AGM, including locally made fish and chips, in The Ark.

This event raised around £500 for FoStAC.

Bourne Again Shadows

“The Shadows” were a band that got thousands of teenagers strumming tennis rackets in the 60’s imagining that they would become the next stars. The music from The Shadows has had chart success spanning 6 decades and we are lucky to have the next best thing performing for us in February.  The Bourne Again Shadows have very kindly agreed to perform for us and reproduce the classic sounds of The Shadows.

This sell out event held at Sonning Cricket and Hockey Club in February 2026 raised over £1,700 for FoStAC and a great time was had by everyone attending.

Wine Tasting Evening 2025

Our first annual Wine Tasting Evening in 2025 was a great success, see left, with an evening of Wine Tasting with the expert from Majestic Wine leading us through a number of bottles.

We held a game of Heads or Tails with Raffle prizes.

Overall the event raised around £750 for FoStAC's funds.

Sonning Show 2025

We had our annual stall at the Sonning Show held in the grounds of Sonning CoE Primary School off Pound Lane in Sonning.

As well as our sell-out Lucky Dip, we had our last ever Christmas Cards for sale and our new Christmas & Fruit Puddings available for purchase, alongside some donated preserves.

One of our most popular annual events is our annual Summer Garden Tea Party.

In 2025, our event raised nearly £1,000 for FoStAC and a great time was had by all - thank you to our hosts and all involved in making it a splendid afternoon.
